Allen E. Fishman, founder and chief executive officer of TAB Boards International, Inc., is one of the country’s foremost experts on privately owned businesses. Allen’s advice and perspectives have assisted business owners around the world to achieve greater personal and business success. In 1990, Allen founded The Alternative Board^®, an invitation-only membership organization of business owners. TAB provides advisory services to business owners by facilitating monthly peer board meetings and providing private coaching sessions. TAB facilitates boards in several countries with locations in more than 100 cities.

To further help privately held business owners achieve greater personal and business success, Allen also developed Strategic Business Leadership^®, an easy-to-use business process that moves business owners from a leadership style based upon the “idea of the week” to one based upon strategic thinking.
